The Dothan Area Botanical Gardens is a stunning 50-acre oasis at 5130 Headland Avenue, Dothan, AL. This beautiful garden features a variety of meticulously maintained gardens, including: –
Cultivated Gardens: Explore the diverse plant species on display, including roses, azaleas, flowering shrubs, succulents, and aquatics.
Nature Trails: Wander through the scenic trails that meander through the Gardens’ natural landscapes.
Southern Gardens: Discover the 14-acre plot containing herbs, daylilies, camellias, native azaleas, meditation and butterfly gardens, demonstration gardens, and a nature trail. The Gardens also offer various events and activities throughout the year, such as educational programs, community events, and the popular Gardens Aglow event during the holiday season. They also started Square Dancing on Tuesday nights from 6 PM to 8 PM. Before planning your visit, note that the Gardens are open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and admission prices vary.
